Our Family's Story
All born and raised in Arizona, our family moved to Phoenix (Ahwatukee) in 2008. Here's how a father, his two sons, and eventually the whole family built State 48 Garage Doors from the ground up.
We Made Phoenix Home
Born and raised in Arizona, our family moved to Phoenix — settling in Ahwatukee, the community we still call home.
State 48 Garage Doors Is Founded
Tony (dad), Jordan (oldest brother), and Tyson (younger brother) started State 48 Garage Doors together.
The Family Business Grows
We hired our first outside technician, and Amber (mom) joined the team full-time.
Another Technician Joins the Team
Growing demand across the Valley meant bringing on another skilled technician.
Voted Best of the Valley
We overhauled our internal systems and processes to better serve customers, and were voted Best Garage Door Company in the Valley by Phoenix Magazine.
Our New Tempe Warehouse & Training Center
We moved into our Tempe warehouse and built a small training center to train new technicians the State 48 way.
